The Perfect Summer Pants
It's sandal season and that means that I need summer pants that are cool and comfy. My favorite pant pattern to crop is the Elle Pant. It's just the right leg width for wearing either a little shorter or a whole lot shorter. To make it easier, I eliminate the diagonal pocket detail and just make a simple pant, pocketless. Linen is the best for the Kansas summer humidity. I wash it first so it's nice and rumpled and then rarely iron the pants ever again.
