Entry Deadline Drawing Near!
I am very excited to see all the entries that are coming in for the Inventor Challenge, due tomorrow December 1. Each one is so unique; everyone interpreting the pattern in different ways.
Interpretation is one aspect of this project that really intrigues me. People look at the world through different eyes. The way I see the world could be completely different from the way others see it. The same thing happens in design. When I was putting together my mood board for the Inventor, all my inspiration was coming from thoughts of luxury. The feeling of soft, plush fabrics in rich tones and delicate details that are almost hidden. Sometimes these inspirations come from the runways, magazines, or my favorite source of inspiration: street fashion. Thus, the mood for my Inventor Jacket was created.
Each person saw this pattern in a different light. I am sure you all will enjoy viewing the entries. Again, all entries are due tomorrow, December 1, 2006. If you have any concerns about the deadline, feel free to email the address below.
