Working with Knits

About three years ago I discovered knits. I have always loved to wear knits, but I'd never gotten into actually sewing with them. I was a little hesitate at first, but I started with stable knits and worked my way towards two-way stretch knits. This transition was a learning process but I came to enjoy the flexibility of knits when it comes to technique and fit.

As with any fabric, there are certain notions or tools that help tame frustration and create a more professional looking garment. Knit Stay Tape is amazing for keeping hems in place while topstitching or to stabilize the neckline. Don't attempt knits without it! Comes in 3 colors: black, natural and white!
