12:59:45 From Barbara’s iPhone : Hey from Tulsa 13:00:57 From annetteuntalasco : Hello from Juneau. Spring is just around the corner. 13:01:24 From karenanneswift : Good morning from Portland, OR 13:01:28 From Mary Jackson : Is there any way to capture a copy of one of the garments so I don't forget the combination of fabrics, etc. 13:01:38 From Barbara’s iPhone : Beautiful garments ladies 13:03:15 From Bonnie mangold Air 2 (2) : Whisles 13:03:15 From Shary Rosenbaum : hi from Pleasant Hill CA. 13:03:21 From Jeanne : the January Now jacket ,,,that fabric is wonderful to wear and sew,,, 13:03:22 From Mary Jackson : Now jacket - because of the brilliant use of the trim. 13:03:28 From MaryLou Corrigan : So far, the Now jacket! Loved the fabric. 13:03:29 From Tracey Fearon : March project is my favorite so far 13:03:41 From Shary Rosenbaum : So far they are all my favorite! 13:03:44 From karenanneswift : I loved everything about the February project! But, excited to (belatedly) get started on March. 13:03:48 From Judie : Now Jacket in Cordoroy 13:03:49 From Carol Rechtoris : Corduroy Now Jacket is my favorite for 2023 thus far. 13:03:50 From ann : Fabric mixing with the Whistles was fun. 13:04:04 From judytr : Hello this is my first time doing the Zoom with you and doing the Sew Confident program. 13:04:21 From Sandy Zernickow : ☘️🍀Happy St Patrick's Day from near Abilene, KS. Sewing a St Pat's Table Runner, along with another shirt in my teal! 13:04:25 From Shelby : I love the changes for the Now and using the french terry for the Eureka . Working on the Whistles now. Learned some new tips on each project so far. 13:04:47 From Shelby : Rain and cold in Kentucky 13:04:48 From karenanneswift : Sunny and cold here - but a welcome break from the rain and snow. 13:05:58 From Betsy B. : Here is a link to sign up for the Private Consulting https://sewingworkshop.com/shop/Private-Consulting-Session-with-Linda-Lee-p363558338 13:06:40 From annetteuntalasco : I really loved the January project, but I just started the March project and have lots of fun combining fabrics/colors. 13:08:55 From Barbara’s iPhone : Thank you 13:10:34 From Bonnie mangold Air 2 (2) : I’d like to see next month’s and the fabric choices 13:11:24 From karenanneswift : There was an FB question about the prairie point, and whether or not the raw edges should be secured 13:11:39 From annetteuntalasco : It is partly cloudy today with snow and rain in the forecast. I can now see part of my driveway. and the number of daylight time is 11 hours and 57 minutes for today 13:11:47 From Alex Woodbury : Welcome, Judy! 13:11:49 From Julie Fagan : I asked a question on the SC 23 FB page about raw edges on the prairie point. I ended up taking mine off and replacing with one that I sewed and turned into a tube that I think will hold up to washing better 13:11:49 From Sandy Zernickow : Thank you for discount on interfacing! 13:12:14 From Barbara’s iPhone : When measuring the final length of the sleeve we measure from shoulder dot to where (on new pattern)? Is it the cuff fold line? 13:13:43 From Cynthia Lewis : I sent you a question by e-mail about the yoke about 20 minutes ago. What was the width of the bottom of your yoke piece? 13:14:14 From Cynthia Lewis : Mine was 3 1/2. 13:17:09 From Julie Fagan : Anyone else finding that the collar is too big to fit onto the modified neckline? 13:17:52 From Bonnie mangold Air 2 (2) : It doesn’t matter because you seam the ends after the collar is sewn in 13:25:58 From D’Anne Bissell : All three projects very original but the resulting creativity of individual projects are even more inspiring! 13:26:37 From Ellen Stenton : Regarding the hem along the bottom, I really struggled. I ended up serging a 3/8 edge and increased the differential feed to 1.5 throughout the extreme curve which created a very slight gather which then made the folding and sewing of the hem much easier. I didn’t find the thread from serging to be an issue but it could have easily been removed after pressing and prior to sewing 13:27:23 From Mary Jackson : Is the collar on the Whistles on any other of your patterns? 13:28:23 From Barbara’s iPhone : Have you considered filming just the alterations? 13:28:31 From Ellen Stenton : I can’t wait to make another version of this 13:29:07 From Betsy B. : Here is the link to the original FB video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUD4Y98W1aQ 13:29:47 From Mary Jackson : Ann's technique is also great for curved pockets. 13:31:24 From Shary Rosenbaum : On the edge of the first folr is where the basting goes? 13:31:59 From Shary Rosenbaum : Veerbally is fine 13:35:09 From Shary Rosenbaum : Got it, Thanks! 13:35:18 From constancecloud : It’s the same way we ease sleeves in 13:35:20 From Mary Jackson : Claire Schafer has it in one of her books. 13:35:29 From Barbara’s iPhone : I think I have seen in it Couture workshop with Marla Kazell 13:35:37 From Shelby : You did something similar on the pintuck shirt 13:36:20 From Janice L Emerick : You used this method on the Now Pintuck pattern 13:36:22 From Diane McCauley : On a similar note, if doing a single fold hem on a shirttail hem, like on a knit tee, I change the differential feed at the curve to cup it. 13:38:40 From constancecloud : I love being walked thru the whole garment 13:38:45 From Barbara’s iPhone : Also 13:38:58 From Barbara’s iPhone : And the paper 13:39:13 From Bonnie mangold Air 2 (2) : On paper 13:39:46 From Paula Jarvis : I'd rather see the whole process, not just pieces. 13:40:07 From Shary Rosenbaum : Both the videos and the paper instructions are so helpful for me 13:40:18 From karenanneswift : Shary, agree. 13:40:34 From dkish : Reacted to "Both the videos and ..." with ❤️ 13:40:43 From Mary Schwartz : Yes, the whole process and repetition can be helpful as I forget things too. 13:41:01 From Barbara’s iPhone : Absolutely! Keep what you are doing and add the alterations and keep the paper. Some people learn different ways 13:41:40 From Shary Rosenbaum : Hey Ann--I also get some solutions during the night. I wake up and it's in my brain 13:41:53 From Mary Jackson : Reacted to "Hey Ann--I also get ..." with 👍 13:41:55 From Paula Jarvis : I did find the written instructions confusing when I read over them before starting. The references to the various drawings were not clear. 13:42:11 From Sandy Zernickow : Prefer for you to repeat the whole process & appreciate both videos & written instructions! 13:42:43 From MaryLou Corrigan : Another vote for BOTH video and written instructions/examples. 13:43:17 From Barbara’s iPhone : Welcome to my world🤣🤣🤣🤣And now my machine has to go to the hospital 😢 13:43:54 From Karen Provost : I love the teaching video, however Food for thought, I was attracted to this year of projects due to you focusing on altering the pattern as an overall theme. So in addition to the regular construction video, which is excellent, I would also like more instruction on altering the pattern. Thank you! 13:44:05 From Barbara’s iPhone : Yay! Have wanted to learn how to do that 13:44:17 From Shary Rosenbaum : Me, too 13:44:36 From Mary Jackson : Bernina's sale is till on to the end of the month so please tell me what I need to buy!!! 13:45:17 From Sandy Zernickow : The next project looks great & exciting! 13:45:19 From karenanneswift : Beautiful. Did Linda mention fabric content? If so, I missed it. 13:45:56 From Jeanne : April's project looks just great ! 13:46:34 From MaryLou Corrigan : Those both look fabulous! Love the colors! 13:46:56 From judytr : We had snow yesterday in Kan 13:47:02 From Mary Schwartz : Yes, Bernina presser foot sale is through the end of this month! 13:47:02 From Cynthia Lewis : Get well, Linda! 13:47:09 From MaryLou Corrigan : Lots of good info today. Thanks very much. 13:47:34 From Chuck Eide : Can you consider making pattern pieces for future projects? 13:47:35 From Sandy Zernickow : Thanks again for the presentation! You do great work! Get well Linda! 13:48:14 From rhonda gatti : As always thank you Linda and everyone at the Sewing Workshop! Job well done. 13:48:39 From Shary Rosenbaum : Filled 13:48:54 From Karen Provost : Thank you Linda for the extra effort I’m sure it took to do this zoom session while obv feeling under the weather. Please feel better. 13:49:28 From karenanneswift : Thank you so much - always helpful. Hope you feel better soon. 13:49:29 From Carol Rechtoris : I like the March project made in darker shades. I see these on the shared FB page. The white stripe detracted from the overall design in my humble opinion. 13:50:14 From Barbara’s iPhone : Thank you ladies! We guys are awesome!! 13:50:37 From Elaine Hockley : Mine was just 2 fabrics. Main border print and a sold cuff and yoke 13:50:52 From Elaine Hockley : Solid! 13:50:58 From Mary Schwartz : I’m still working on the Feb. Pintuck Jacket but this discussion will be very helpful when I get to this project. Thank you so much!! 13:51:10 From karenanneswift : No annoying 13:51:13 From karenanneswift : Not 13:51:18 From Barbara’s iPhone : Feel better!! 13:51:36 From Jeanne : thanks..,have a happy weekend ! 13:51:38 From MaryLou Corrigan : Thanks for the extra effort, Linda. 13:51:48 From dkish : Thank you, take care 13:51:48 From Mary Jackson : Thanks.
