The Sewing Workshop hesitates to dictate how to treat a fabric because every fabric behaves differently. But genereally, every fabric is washable. To determine whether you like the results of washing your fabric, cut off a 4" square from one corner of the piece, and wash and dry it. If you like it, then continue to wash the garment. If you don't, then put it in the category of a Dry Clean Only garment.

Linda Lee's personal fabric care concept:

I rarely wash any fabric. While I might pre-wash a fabric, I still dry clean most of my finished garments. I think they look better and last longer.
