In this Sew Confident! class, Alex will teach you the keys to embellishing your very own Crane St. Tee pattern. For this project, the Crane St. Tee is made in a long sleeve version. For the embroidery design, we selected internationally curated threads, each with interesting and unique qualities. Hand embroidery is added to the garment with a special, custom design that was illustrated by Alex. French Terry kits for this project are available here.

Techniques you will learn in the workshop:

• How to use transfer paper to apply the embroidery design to fabric
• How to evaluate the design to determine placement on the garment
• How to use 9 different embroidery stitches plus appliqué to create a floral embroidery motif

The class consists of an instructional video class, taught by Alex, and a pre-recorded Zoom Q&A session with Alex & Linda.
