This summer we hosted our very first Sew-Along for our newest pattern, the Zayn Top. Our goal was to break down the instructions with step-by-step photographs to make sewing the Zayn even easier. We also wanted to include some of our favorite techniques – things that we can't fit in our regular pattern instructions. The best part, by far, has been our Sew-Along Facebook Group where everyone who is making a Zayn can ask questions and share their projects. We have had a few finished Zayn's pop-up on Facebook so far, which we wanted to share with you. We hope you keep the pictures coming. We want to see your finished projects!
We love Sally's all-over print Zayn. It is so bold! Though we are out of that fabric now, Erin made one for herself as well. Such a great look!
We were lucky to see this Zayn in person at our recent Sew Kansas event. I love how she used the drape as an accent piece.
Kathy also made a featured panel on her Zayn, but she had the bright idea of using the same striped fabric – just changing the direction of the stripes. That little twist makes all the difference, don't you think?
Kathy's Zayn is a classic. An all-white embroidered cotton to wear on the hottest summer days.
I need help with Zayn at #9 for the drape. I finally got nerve and cut out my fabric. but know I am having problems with this part. What should I be doing or not doing? I just don't see it in the photos. Pls help. I know that the sew-along is over but I need help. Tnks in advance.
